          The San Luis Valley Business Loan Fund provides financing for business expansion, retention, and start-ups. Businesses must be able to provide or retain permanent full time equivalent jobs, filling 60% of the positions with low-moderate income persons.  We are a gap financer and encourage bank participation.  We do not compete with or replace local lending institutions.  We are not a lender of last resort; however, our programs are not usually as restrictive as banks.
